what acorn/conical lug nuts to use?
i'm going to get Volk rims.
so i need to get apropriate acorn/conical lug nuts.
what budget options are recommended?
i don't care too much about fancy colors - but Muteki NEON looks nice to me.
other not too expensive brands that i saw:
blox
nrg
buddy club
JDM password
bwr/BLACKWORKS
Skunk2
949
which one are safe and recomended?
bear in mind that due to drifting i mount/dismount wheels quite frequently.
another interesting option that i've found is "McGard 65557 Wheel Installation Kit" which comes with 16 SplineDrive lug nuts and 4 locking nuts in chrome/black/gold:

McGard actually looks the best to me but i don't have any expirience with splindrive lugs.
pls your thoughts.
Thx,
Gennady

got McGard chrome "installation" set.
quality is awesome.
they feel really tough but they still much lighter than OEM.
80$ for a full set incl locks and valve steems is fantastic value.

I have had a set of McGard spline drives for over a year and have been happy.
1 advantage over most of the other tuner brands is the rotating base. It protects the finish in the lug holes.
Oh, don't get "acorn" shape unless you're using them on stock wheels. Aftermarket wheels usually have a "conical" lug seat.

this is huge!!!
usually only featured on very expensive tuner lugs.
i was very surprised to see this on McGards.
it's strange they don't mantion this in product description.
Oh, another FYI, but if you get the "wheel install kit" the locks that come with it DO NOT have rotating bases.
DOH, so I ended up using the "5 lug wheel install kit" on my 4 lug car and sold the set of locks.
