Default What Psi to be on?

Hi, i was wondering what psi should my tires is on? my setup is 17x9 +45 with 255/40/17 all around.

I find the sidewalls to be a little soft on mine, probably start at 33psi and adjust from there. Mine took a long time to really break in properly, very unsettled for 400 to 500 miles after they were fitted. Give it at least a couple of hundred miles before you adjust the pressure, to see what feels best. If I were to guess, I think you'll end up around the 35psi mark...

32-33 is preferred.

I gotta ask,
When you guys are measuring your PSI are you referring to hot or cold tires?

For RS3s here are my settings

30 psi cold for autocross
34 psi cold for road course
36 psi cold for highway driving

Why anyone would put a flimsy ass sidewall tire like the v12 on an s2k I have no clue, dangerous.

I'm trying to figure out why these seem to becoming so popular. What niche in the market are they filling vs some other choices Is it just purely price? The federal 595 on the shelf at every LesSchwab is cheap, but at least it handles properly as well.

They are affordable tires which do most things pretty well. Not hard to figure out why they're popular. And softer sidewalls aren't dangerous - lack of grip is dangerous (which isn't a problem with these tires).
