It's already dropped on H&R springs and absolutely no rubbing.
of course you're not rubbing you only got a .75 inch drop and running really skinny tires in the rear.....but put them 245 or 255 and you might require fender rolling....

255/35 at the rear and 225/40 for the front. Why would I go to a lower profile for the rear.
lower profile doesn't mean shorter sidewalls in this instance. The second number there is a percentage of the tire width. You use the "lower profile" in the back because the tires are wider than the front.

I'm not sure what the offset is of the rims. I bought the car with this set up. The rims are ADR M-Sport.

your profile will stay the same with 255/35.

this sounds a bit scary - your car is lowered and the tire sizes are mismatched. I wonder if the previous owner even got an alignment. This sounds like a "i was driving 60mph and lost control for no reason" in the making.

Well, that's a little extreme. The alignment seems fine.

The size and the offset of the wheels will determine the size tire you will need. You would at the least want to go with 225/40R18 all the way around. The tires you have on now are too tall.

Not as extreme as you might think.

Running the same size tire all the way around will make the car much more tail happy if you don't know what you are doing.

Both the speedometer and the proper functioning of the anti-lock braking system are dependent upon the O.D. (Outside Diameter) being correct for the existing equipment. Both your front and rear pairs of tires are incorrectly sized. That is what Jim meant when he said your tires are "too tall".
You really ought to learn a lot more about this stuff before you get into trouble.. Tire Rack's web site has lots of information.
BTW, either you have an aftermarket 'Yellow box' or your speedo has significant error.

As for the "totally retarded" ??? I'll let you answer.
