Default What tire size should I run?

Hey guys, sorry if this size has been discussed before but I didn't find the answer I was looking for just from searching. I have a set of wheels size: 17x8 +44 17x9 +44. Both front and rear fenders are rolled and the rear bumper tab is relocated as well. As of now, I'm on H&R springs (.75" front .5" rear) but I'll probably get some Eibach pro kit springs eventually. What tire size would be good for this set-up with no rubbing and no crazy camber settings? I was thinking 245/40/17 and 225/45/17 but do you think I can go wider? Thanks guys!

What do you consider crazy camber? 225/255 would fit on the rims, they would look square, no stretch at all. So that is going to make camber adjustment more crucial, even with the fender roll. From what I’ve seen on my own car, my best guess is you could run -2 up front and -2.5 in back with those tires. If that’s too much camber for you, then 215/245 at -1 front and -1.5 rear is what you would be looking at, best guess.

i've got wheels with similar specs, fenders rolled, tab relocate, -1.5 front/-3 rear camber, lowered about 1.5", and running 215/45 and 235/40. they have a matching stretch which looks great and a little room inside the fender. 225/245 shouldn't be a problem with this setup either. if you want to go wider than that it might take some tinkering...

Check out the RPF1 thread here: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/797...1-thread-pt-2/
A lot of guys are running 17x8 +45 and 17x9 +45 which is only 1mm less aggressive than you are. Since your fenders are rolled I'd go with 225/45 in the front and 255/40 in the rear.

also just consider the look you want, your budget, and where/how you drive. different sizes have different pros and cons in regard to performance, weight, and cost.

the Megans have 12k springs all around but are actually pretty comfortable on the softest damper setting... maybe close to the stock suspension. at the track I run them on the stiffest setting and they do pretty well but honestly I could stand them to be even stiffer.

After looking at the rpf1 thread I kind of wanna just go with 225/255's lol. The price isn't very different between the two sets. I was looking at the sumitomo htr z III's on tire rack and it's $416 for the 215/245's vs $440 for the 225/255's, before shipping. I originally wanted the continintal extreme contact dw's but the price goes up sustantially and I'm not sure if it's worth the extra money. Those sumitomo's are pretty decent though from what I hear? This is mostly for street with some auto-x btw... no track for now.
