Wheel Fitment Guide

i have a 18x9 rear w/ +64 offset. 245 wide tires
according to the info posted on this thread, i should be safe all the way up until +45
i'm currently considering getting either 15mm or 20mm spacers, is the extra 1mm going to cause it to rub? it would effectively make it +44
or should i play it safe w/ the 15s? i guess it wouldn't look as flush as the 20s...

doesnt answer my question is it not possible at all to run 245 in front with rolling/camber
What is your plan for this car?
Are you planning to increase front camber just so you can run a wider tire on the street? If so, why?
Are you planning to increase front camber and run a wider tire because this is going to be your track car and you are planning to tune the suspension to properly account for the wider front tire? If so, read up in the track forums and see what those guys recommend.
Last point: You'll have a lot better result finding a high offset wheel for the front if you want to run a wide front tire. That would be a better solution, IMO, than modifying the car just so you can use a specific wheel.

Ken

Personally I would just get the 15 mm spacer and be done with it.

Hey Ken,
I know I am pushing the boundaries, but from what I understand if I keep stock suspension, I can run 245s on the rear with 17 x 9 +45 and not have to roll the fenders or relocate the rear bumper tab? I was planning on getting the Sumitomo HTR+s from you guys in 245/40-17 all four corners. I would probably get wide front fenders or pull them because I wouldn't want to run 205s on a 9 in rim!
This is a DD I don't drive too crazy.

I have a set of rims that I plan to put on my car. Here is the problem:
The rear center holes fit fine over the hub and go on as they should.
The fronts however have a slightly smalled center hole and will not fit over my hubs. I know these wheels are Hubsentric (spelling ?) instead of Lugcentric so I want the hub to be the right size. Does anyone know the measurement of the hub size that I will need to have lathed out so that the rims fit on my S2000?
Thanks

Don't bother with the 245 in front. I mean, why would you? The S2000 is already neutral with 205s up front. Running equal width tires on all four corners of the S2000 isn't prudent IMO, unless you have a suspension setup that is tuned to match. Get a narrower wheel for the front or just put the 245 on the 9" wheel if you insist. "I don't drive too crazy" doesn't matter. When we're avoiding an accident, who knows what we'll need to do. We WILL need to rely on the car to handle properly. If you have to weave around a Camry driver in the left lane because he slammed on the brakes because he saw a leaf blowing onto the roadway, do you really want a car that will oversteer at the slightest provocation? I don't.
245s in the rear at +45 should work fine.

You said "you guys" - did you mean tire rack? I don't work for them.
