You *should* be able to run 215/45-17 and 245/40-17 without any problems. You might be able to go 255/40-17 for the rears. I wouldn't try 225/45-17 fronts, though.

Did you see these?

A few other wheels to consider are 5zigen fn01r-c and enkei rp03

Both can be found in s2k sizes and workable offsets.

again, thank you guys for the replys and help.
I know I'm new here and new to the s2k but I try and keep the questions simple, you guys have been a nice group so far, mature and very helpful.

the two wheels you showed me Manga_Spawn are nice but I'm dead set on these bad boys.

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...Lip&tab=wheels

Enkei Tenjin

17x8 +45
17x9 +45

about 200 a wheel and weigh about 16 pounds.
I had a long chat with a tire rack guy and found these, I love em and although I wanted bronze wheels the gunmetal Tenjins will go very well with my SilverStone Grey s2k.

I'll make another thread when I get back from Brazil and buy these wheels.

Thank you guys for all the help again!

I'm gonna do that.

I'm just a bit worried tho, rolled my rear quarters on my 07 MazdaSpeed 6 and the paint chipped so bad... my "fix" turned out not so great... once I peeled off the painters tape after respraying you could see the little line left from where the paint lined up with the tape...

anyway, I guess I'll have a professional do it and hopefully the s2k's paint is better then the mazdaspeeds.

night guys! and have a good new years!

thanx for the info bro.....

I'll prob go with 215/45-17 and 255/40-17

like I stated above I'll prob get my fenders rolled professionally so I assume the wider tires would be ok.

maybe even 225/45-17 in the front, as long as fenders are rolled i'll be good right.

I have one question.

when buying tires is it necessary to use the same tire front and back or can I use one brand for the rear and one brand for the front?

thank you and happy holidays!

sure, you can run different brands as long as they are in the same performance category. i just don't recommend running an all season tire with a high performance summer tire.
