ight... just lowered the car finally... still got to do the back but i notice when i did the front that the wheel inner linning is goin to be a problem.. it almost sits on the tire...

so what is everybody doin.. are ya'll taking it out competely or moding it some how??

also do i really need it??? input plz

I took mine completely out but you do get leaves and rocks stuck in the fenders when its off. I would suggest that you trim the top portion of it to accomodate the drop.

thanks for da advice man... i appreicate it.. but its pretty slammd... i dont think i could trim it enough if i wanted 2... i might pull it completely out see how that works... if i dont like how the leaves and rocks get caught up in there i'll put it bak in

dont trim it just let it hit, it prevents tire from grabbing the metal.


just leave it or push the tabs up (metal) so it pushes liner up a little.

i learned this the hard way

I have heard some people heat the liner and mold it up out of the way so it still protects, but it is higher sitting.

awww man.... wish i wouldve read this in time...

but wut i did was i kept the linner because i saw how big it was and wut it covered (headlamp assembly wires and the inner fender was deep so i didnt want stuff gathering in there... but i cut off a small portion that goes to those tabs... then i push the tabs up...

good thing is i have better clearence but now ya'll got me scared of the tire grabbn da metal..

hate to say it.... but rijowysock you was right...

i was driving fine by myself... but i picked up a homeboy and made da wrong turn into a incline drive way...

metal grabd...

pulld da tab down...

bent the fend...

chipd da paint...

me cryn :'(

.................................................. ........................ gotta rise it and half inch..

or just dont ride with any passengers

Same thing happened to me! Thankfully it did not chip the paint and i'm hoping that paintless dent repair can help me out!
