Default Wheel Question

I finnally found the rims I want for my car but I need some help after reading some threads about Handling when updating your rims.....

I want to buy the Speed Star Sp1s 18x8 in the front and 19x9 in the rear acording to TIRERACK...If I do go that much bigger then my stock rims will it effect my handling and if so how?

Thanks John

you might notice improved handling due to wider wheels/tires, but might feel deceleration due to heavier weight.

18' front and 19's rear????

I would RECOMMEND that you stick with one or the other.

There are a lot of people who run this size set up with the SSR's and have no problems. The only down side is the additional weight of the wheels.

Handling:
You will feel the lack of acceleration if your N/A due to the additional wheel diameter and weight...

Additionally the gearing and speedometer difference will be minimal..

The only bad thing is I don't have the wheels available at this time. SSR is being sold so it may be a little while till I receive more wheels.
