Default wheel setup question

Hey just got my fenders rolled and relocated fender tabs on my 03 gpw. Just wondering if this is sufficient to run a 17x8 17x9 +35 around setup. Let me know what you guys thing about this. thanks

what tires? How low? And you'll most likely need camber.

I would look for wheels with +45 or greater offset.

really? 10 mm makes that much of a difference and getting some semi stretched tires wouldnt make up for that?

To run that setup you'll need rolled and pulled fenders.
