Default Wheel size help URGENT

Hi guys, just got my s2k and loving it so far but having an issue I'm hoping someone can help with. I've just purchased a brand new set of rota grid drift wheels in the size 17" 9j et42 all round, after researching for a while and looking at pics of various setups I decided to go with this however I got a phonecall from the company saying that size on the front of an s2k will require a lot of work like flaring arches or even needing over fenders. The pics I've seen of this setup don't look anywhere near as aggressive as they are making out. Is anyone running this setup of know how it will go on the car?

I decided on the same figment all round because rota grid drifts design is greatly affected by the width and offset, a staggered setup would have flat spokes on the front and aggressive concave on the rear. I want them to look the same all round. The tyres will be 225 45 17.

Any help is greatly appreciated, my order is on hold until I phone them back to confirm this is the size I want

You will need a basic fender roll but no flare/pull will be necessary. I would recommend running a wider tire (255/40) in the rear though, even if the wheels are same size all around.

Thanks for the speedy reply. Would I need a roll front and rear? I've already purchased the tyres but I'll look into running wider on the rear when these are worn

Yes you will need to roll all the fenders and relocate the rear tabs. If you do that you can easily run 245 all around or 255 like nate said. 225 is to narrow for a 9 inch wide wheel.

225 is ok for the front but not the rear, especially when a 255 can fit your set up in the back with the fender mods mentioned and a decent camber alignment.

I don't know about "easily" running that setup. Most of the S2000's I see with that kind of setup have front fenders that are chewed up. But a lot of people don't seem to care about messed up fenders.

I should clarify. There is a difference between rolling the fenders and putting the wheels on after. Rolling them right is not easy if you don't know what your doing. I have rolled a lot of fenders. It is easy but you need someone to do the roll right and not with a bat or pipe or whatever. I run 17x9 +43 in front with 245 and it wasn't hard.
