Question Wheel Spacer/Offset Question

Hello,

My current wheel setup: 17x7.5 +50 w/ 215/45 front and 17x8.5 +50 w/ 245/40 rear Volk RE30s. They look awesome and they're a dream wheel of mine, but I am thinking about making my setup more flush. I was thinking the H&R DRM (these have integrated studs on the spacer) 20mm front and 15mm rear. My fenders are rolled incl. the relocated rear tabs, and I'm lowered on Tein coilovers with about a 1.5 finger gap b/t fender-tire. Would this setup be too extreme? I haven't seen what would essentially be a 17x7.5 +30 and 17x8.5 +35 setup on an s2000. I could use a milder spacer but that would require me to replace the factory studs with extended ones which I am trying to avoid. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I would say that would be a pretty aggressive setup. You would need to run ~3 degrees plus camber all around.
I would be more concern with the rears as I don’t believe H&R make any integrated spacer with studs for anything less than 20mm. Even if they do, or you go with a different brand, your wheels need to have big pocket clearances for the stock studs.

I imagined someone would say it'd be pretty aggressive. The Volk RE30s have decent sized recesses that should be able to accommodate for the OEM studs and luckily H&R makes a 64.1 bore 15mm for the rear so I'll be fine on that end. I guess you can say the fronts are my biggest worry. Honestly I wouldn't have to do this if I could just fine a better sized RE30 but coming across a set is a rare occurrence..

Here is something similarish in terms of fit, my least favorite stage of my car.

17x7.5 +30 w/ 215/45 up front. 17x9.5 +43 w/ 245/40 in back. Front obviously much more similar bc the 9.5 will shape the tire differently than an 8.5.

Ahh I've seen your car around this forum a few times. How much camber were you running? And I might be trippin but it looks like you pulled your fenders.

Fronts are lightly pulled. One rear is pulled bc paid a guy and he did an awful job.

I think I had -2.5 or so at that point.

I see, I will keep those camber specs in mind. I just found out that a company makes hub centric spacers in 15mm for the front so I should be "safer" as supposed to the 20mm.
