Default Wheel widths?

Hey I have a stock '06 sebring and I'm looking to get a new summer wheel package for appearance and preformance(street DD). I plan on going as light as possible(within $reason)and would sacrifice appearance for performance.I would apreciate any suggestions as far as sizes and brands. I've done a little research and currently think I'll buy advan's but am unsure of size. Is there a noticeable handling improvement by going with a wider wheel/tire combo?

volk's wheels are very light, yet strong wheels, and have the right offsets for the "S".
You should go 17"X7.5"(+50)and 17"X9" (+63).

As light as volks but about $700 cheaper. Also same exact offsets as stock so you know it will work.

Volks have the advantage though with the wider rims if you want to use extra wide tires.

Advan's are nice but they are cast instead of forged meaning you aren't going to be saving much weight or may even be adding weight depending on what size you are looking at. Offsets aren't the best either on the RG II.

Thanks for the input, I guess that I should have realized volk's are probably the best solution for an upgrade. The advan neova tire was what I was referenceing in my prior post, when I researched this topic it was mentioned(along withgoodyear F1's) as having a very high level of grip. Will I see any improvements from going with a wider tire? or is the increased weight going to cause problems?
