Thumbs up Where to get a Deep dish rim

Hey guys. Well ive been doing searche and what not on Deep Dish rims and it looks like offset is our main problem. IT CAN BE DONE, but we need to modify it. In order to get a nice dish size like 2.5"-3" we would need a 9.5-10" wide tire...but because of offset being not big enough the rims would stick out. GAY!
ANYWAY, i think ill worry about that later, offset and rolling the fenders. FOR NOW, im wondering whats a nice rim (Black with chrome lip) for the S2 and where can I buy them?
EBAY - NO
TIRE RACK - NO
DISCOUNT TIRE - NO

Know of any good sites guys? Thanks

OH, my stock 2000 S2 has 16" rims...7.5 wide right? IF I went with 17" or even mabye 18" would this screw with the way the car handles and preforms? I dont wanna that away from the engineering marvel

You basically want to put 350z wheels on an S2000. Meaning that you are asking people for advice on how to put an inproperly sized wheel on the car. I'm not sure that youre going to get much if any advice on doing this since it's an abnormal thing to do.

If you are looking for lip size versus offset it depends on the wheel type.

gruppe-s also stocks them in a wider array of offsets and widths...probably better to order from them anyway since it looks like tirerack is sold out of the 17's again.

There are currently 2 different sets of volks with black spokes and polished lips for sale in the "For Sale" forum. I don't know hoe 'deep' you really need, but those volks fit properly at least.

You bought the wrong car if all you want is a dish in your rims.

Both of those places you listed can get you a bigger lip. NOW, whether or not you like the wheel is a different concern. Lower your car and run negative camber and a big wheel and voila......
