Whose running 18's on Tein S-Techs
So im on 17's with Tein Stech. With the front lip i find the car is just too low for a daily drive. Ive already cracked my front lip! Here in Africa we got some serious potholes!!
So i decided to get some 18';s thinking it will increase my ride height.Im collecting them tomorrow.
However i realised that i need to be careful with keeping the same profile as stock as i may rub. I noticed most guys run 18/255/35 on rear and 18/225/40 on the front. But if i go with these profiles it will negate the increase in ride height i get from the 18INCH rim, so its just a waste of time as the profiles are less than stock.
I wanted to go 225/45 and 255/40(same profiles as stock) but not that many tyres available in 255/40.
What do you guys find is the best balance. I want to increae my ride height a little but i obviously dont want massive tyre walls so it looks like a buggy.lol
Maye im missing the boat here completely, i dunno.
Offsets on the rims ive bought are 48+ and 50+(rear). Not ideal for S2K but ive seen them work quite well on others without rubbing.
Any advice appreciated!
