Default why do certain rims come without center caps?

I've been looking through the threads and I noticed alot of high quality(and expensive) rims like Work and Advans dont have center caps. Why is that?Is it a racing thing?I've seen some nice cars with these rims but the rusty centers look ugly IMO.I know some people put what looks like a lugnut but it doesnt improve the look.

There have been some great deals on Emotions floating around but the no center cap thing turns me off.Is there a way around this? ...thanks

Depending on the wheel and the purchase..... the centercaps can either come with or without the wheel.

I think that what you are seeing in the gallery is that people have removed the centercaps on purpose. It is the "JDM" look and I actually prefer it. It's preference. You will see this more on rims with more spokes. ie the CE28's or LE's

You will find that even though the wheel and center hub may not look good sitting.....but they look much better rolling without the centercaps.

The centers you paint black if your wheel is black. If your wheels is not black it's a little more difficult.

Its also the race car look. Since centercaps can fall off during a race, the race cars that use the wheels you buy don't use them so the manufacturer doesn't include with them. The design of wheels like CE28N and Emotions start as wheels for racing anyways.
