Widest Tire on a CE28 18" and overfenders
Alright wheel guys. I have a mission. 500whp+ turbo s2k. Now all i need to worry about is traction or rather how to mantain it.
I already have a set of Gunemetal Volk CE28s
18x7.5+50 225
18x8.5+52 255
My plan is to move the rears to the front and keep the 255s on the 8.5" wheels. I want to find a matching pair of CE28s in Gunmetal to go on the rear. I am getting Shine Overfenders installed for extra clearance, Ideally I'd like to run the widest tire possible in the rear so as to maintain stagger and have excellent traction in the rear.
ideally i'd like to have:
18x8.5+50 255 up front
with 295s in the rear.
So to acheive this which Volk CE28 would I need to order?
People have suggested 18x9.5+22 and 18x9.5+35, but wouldn't I be limited to a 265 with that offset?

Without knowing which overfenders (assuming the ASM style ones), I'd do 18x9.5 +40, and run a 275. A 295 is going to be pinched way too much on a 9.5. You'll bald out the middle of the tire in no time. Unfortunately the only thing available in the next width is 10.5 +18
Again, that's just what I'd do.
*edit* A 275/35. Yes, I know the OD is a bit taller than stock. Won't really matter with that power, might actually even help by effectively lengthening the gears a little bit.

Shine Overfenders (aka J's overfenders)
Yeeeaaaaaah, 18x10.5 +18 will certainly not do. Heh, that sucks. :/
What about 285/35/18 or 285/30/18 on a 9.5?
I can't do 275/40/18, the VSA system will freak the hell out due to the front/rear tire size difference. So 275/35/18 might have to do the trick. :/

Well you would run into one issue running the 285/30. The OD is shorter than what you'd have in the front. While it might not be enough to visually notice, it would just be something that bothered me if it was my car. 285/35 is even taller than a 275/35 so...yeah.
It's up to you, but I really think 275/35 is the size for you.
