Default Will this fit?

I have read the wheel fitment guide over and over again but this doesn't seem to answer my question. My current setup is F:17x7 +55 with a 245/40/17 R:17x18.5 +65 with a 245/45/17. In the wheel fitment thread it says that in order to run that my front would need to have an offset of at least 63 which is an 8mm difference. It has been working fine with no rubbing. The setup I want to run is 17x8 +48 with a 225/45/17 and a 17x9 +42 with a 245/45/17. According to the wheel fitment guide that is 5mm too small for the front and a 3mm to small for the back. Does anyone know the minimum amount of work that is going to be required to make these fit? I am currently on stock height if that helps.

Shouldn't be running 245/40 on a 7" wheel.
Also, 245/45-17 is significantly taller than stock.
Recommendation for your new wheel sizes:
235/40-17 f, 255/40-17 r
Or
225/45-17 f, 255/40-17 r
Or
215/45-17 f, 255/40-17 r
Or
215/45-17 f, 245/40-17 r (most conservative)

The taller/wider options may require some negative camber, which is fine as long as toe is minimized (0 front, 0.2deg total rear)

Why would you run a 45 series 17" on the rear

imo, if you're going to run a 17x8f and 17x9r, I'd got with a 225/45 in the front and 255/40 in the rear...jm2c; up the front wheel to a 8.5" for a 235.

Me too!

8" is the minimum recommended rim width for a 235/40-17, and the recommendation is generally going to be quite conservative.
Similar fit to a 255/40-17 on an 8.5" wide rim, which Honda did oem with the CR.
IMO, either is a "good fit".

225/45-17 on an 8" wheel is as much of a stretch vs. measuring rim size (7.5") as 235/40-17 is pooched on an 8" vs. its measuring rim size (8.5").
IMO, neither is a "better" fit, both are fine.

You will be fine running 225/45 on a 17x8 +48 on the front. I have been running that setup for a few years with no issue or rolled fenders. The rear I can't confirm. It would be better to run a 255 in the rear as opposed to a 245. But that size might require fender work with that offset.
Incase you were wondering why 255 is better than 245 is because 225/45 and 255/40 have the same diameter. Versus a 225/45 will be a larger tire (sidewall) than a 245/40 so the front tire will be taller and may effect handling slightly but also make the natural rear end sag more apparent.

Thanks for the advice guys, I appreciate it. I'm gonna go ahead and order the 225/45 and run the 245 in the back until it wears out and upgrade to a 255/40. Thanks again.
