I just did 245/255 two weeks ago. It's awesome, no complaints

another option is 235/40 in front, depending which tires you're getting

Overall, you won't get any additional life. Say you do wear the rears at a 1.5x faster rate, and you're running 255s all around. If you get 20k miles out of them rotating the tires, then you would get 24k on the fronts and 16k on the rears not rotating them. No "extra" tire life from rotating, you still use up tires at the same overall rate. You just end up replacing them all at the same time instead of rears first.

255s up front will help with braking performance as well.
A smidge. Should improve front cornering (lateral) grip more than braking (longitudinal) grip. My point is, if clearance is a concern up front, I wouldn't have any issues going 245/255 instead of 255/255.

Also, if absolute quickest lap time isn't the overriding objective, you'll get better handling feel on the street with smaller, lighter-weight front tires.

The reason I am thinking of 245 in the front so I don't have to deal with rubbing or rolling the fender. Rotating the tires is not too big of a deal for me since I don't drive the car enough to make that much of a cost different.

My main concern is how the car will handle on the street and will I have any rubbing issue on street. I do not track my car.
