Will these rub....
I may just go with 17x9 +44 Work Emotion CR Kais, but I am most likely going to try and make the 18inch rim work out. Will these rub?
Yokohama S.Drive 245/40/18 on a 18x9.5+38 rim -2.5 (back)camber rolled fenders on Skunk 2 Springs & Koni Yellows, and a 215/40/18 on an 18x7.5 +48 with -1.5 camber.
The tread width for front tires are 7.7 & 8.8 Tread Width in the back........

To fit the 18s you will need more camber than -2.5* in the rear. I think you would need to be more around the -3.00* to -3.25* range with a 245. I have the same width and offset as the fronts(18x7.5 48) And I am at -2* with a 225.

What's the point in buying 9.5" wheels and then putting a tire that is .2 inches narrower than stock tires? Why don't you just buy wheels that fit and put 255's or 265's on a 8" wide wheel?
I think you will run 215/40/18 in the front and 245/35 18 in the rear. You "might" get away without rubbing in the rear because of the stretch.
btw, here's how 17x9 +44 will look with a 225/45/17 front and no fender roll:

I think I may just run these in 17x9?????????
I now I can fix the rubbing issue I am just wondering if it will look awkard with such a big rim in the back, whats your honest opinions should I go for 18's?

I loved the look of my Work wheels and got a lot of compliments. Work Emotion CR-Kai - Gun Metal Gray - 17x8 +47 Front (Flat Face) / 17x9 +44 Rear (Concave Face). Continental Conti Sport3 Tires 225-45-17F and 255-40-17R, the car is stock height/brakes/suspension. As pictured in the post above, with this offset rear wheels will extend beyond the fender. I had no issues with cornering, but a rear fender roll was necessary for high speed (70+mph) driving on the freeway (big dips in the road = minor rubbing).
