Default What tires are you running?

I went on Tirerack.com to look at tires and the tire size recommended was 245/35-18. Trouble is there are very few tires out there in this size. Could I go to a 40 series without worrying anymore about rubbing? Thanks!

If you go to a 245/40/18, you'll only increase your tire diameter by about 1/2". This is contingent upon having a rim that is the proper width and offset.

Diameters of various sizes:

225/50-16: 24.86" (OEM of pre 04)
235/35-18: 24.48" (-0.38")
245/40-18: 25.72" (+0.86")
245/35-18: 24.75" (-0.11")
255/35-18: 25.03" (+0.17")

The two sizes that closely match OEM are 245/35-18 and 255/35-18
