Keep the tire width down to 225 maximum and be careful about lowering your car and you should be fine. My rears are 225/40/18 on a 18x7.5 with a 42 offset. No rubbing at all though the car is not lowered. The tire edge extends about .9 inches which isn't too bad but if you go wider with the tire, it'll look funkified.
So, the answer is yes it will fit but admitedly not the best choice.

 

I agree with Russ. You may have a little scrub depending on the section width of the tire you choose. If I can help with the tires let me know.

if i lower my car i only want a very subtle drop
like an 1" or less..will that be ok?

i dont drive my car too agressive , should i be concered about safety when doing this?

These wheels/tires will be gone soon though. I have a newbie combo being put on in a week or so.
Don't know what I'm going to do with 'em. The Kumho's only have 8,000 on 'em.
