I'm wondering if the lip has a clear coat. Does anyone know? I want to polish my wheels

I would say no, my VS-SS 3pc did not have clear coat on the lip. They were either polished stainless or chrome. That I don't know for sure....

Mine did. You can tell by looking at the sticker on the lip

no clear coat. It's polished.
the sticker's don't even come on the wheel new. They come on a sticker sheet and it's usually up to the purchaser to put them on. Same goes for work emotions.

I had work s1's this past summer for a few months.

work does not do polishing on their 3 piece wheels they anodize it. its alot more expensive then just polishing or clear coating.

Mine were polished, but the previous owner removed the clearcoat and then polished them for a shinier lip. Keith and I had the same set of wheels, except I think he got them new and I was the 4-5th owner.

+1 they are anodized lips for the multi piece wheels. Learned that when I had to get my old meisters refinished. Just soap and water or detailer spray works plenty. If you end up polishing them, they will haze after a while if they aren't kept up.
