Would this size fit on the S?

P.S. He says himself that they're 17x9.5's.
I'd say you COULD stuff them, but mucho rolling, camber, etc. will be required and you may still rub unless you superstretch some 235's or something.
How are they different? The tires are #1, twice as expensive, and #2, have different sidewall heights, yeah...but I fail to see why you think they'll be drastically different.
Judging by the amount of sidewall bulge on Diez's tires (and if they're really 17x9.5's), I'd say he's running somewhere close to a 275mm tire. Run a 255 and you'd instantly have 10mm more clearance, which will allow you to dial in a more normal camber setting.

volk does not offer a 17x9.5 +44
the only offer a 17x9.5 +40 or +47... I dunno, maybe Diez made a mistake? or had the custom made.
and yes, you can fit the rear 17x9.5 or 18x9.5, it does not matter what size the wheels are, the diameter be will nearly the same. +45 will require rolled fenders and a 255 or 245 tire with -3.0 camber. If you want to do that work, yes, they will fit.
