Default xd9 rubbing issues with 245/40/17?

i'm planning to get a set of works xd9
17x9.5 offset 44 non-staggered
http://www.work-wheels.co.jp/products/whee...id=7&Item_id=45

i'm wondering on a s2k with Apexi N1 circuit pro's lowered around... 1.25 inch?

will i have rubbing issues with 245/40/17 how about... 255/40/17?
my rear is rolled and i'm planning to flare the fronts but how about the inside??

would i have enough clearance when i turn? or will modding that be required??

thx
Don

its pretty aggressive running a 245/255 on those spec wheels. You will "pop your fenders easily with that size tire. Also, You would have to be really low, in order to pull these wheels off and you would need a lttle more then just a roll to do so. to actualyl maek these work, you would have to run a 235 all around like the previous setup that was on the board. Although, it looks good, I wouldn't run smaller tires that stock. I wouldn't run this set up. Try looking into the RPf1's 9+45 stagger al laround or, to ensure the most safety, a Volk 9+63 with 245's all around is forsure no rubbing

thanks

i was looking at RPf1's 9+45 all round and i'm planning to use that rim for track
so i want a daily rim for the streets
i was thinking the offset is almost the same but itz like... .5inch wider....
not sure if i can still tune and not hit the inside of the fender..

It will acutally be a little more then 5mm for the difference of 9 +45 to a 9.5 +44.

Its gonna be about 13mm more aggressive due to the lower offset (1mm) and another half inch wider (12mm)

it-s doable, but you would have to sacrifice preamture tire wear for cleaance, and undersized tire sizing. Hope this helps
