Default New Wheels!

I juss recieved my rims. I am waitin to get some tires but the only thing that im curious about is if i can roll with 225/45/17 F and 255/40/17 R. My Rims are 17x7 and 17x8 + 42 offsets. Does anyone know if that set up will rub or anything? My car is still stock height and I will be droping it about 1" most definitely Eibach springs.

those offsets seem kinda low ... you most likely will run into rubbing issues with those tire sizes and a drop ..

you will prolly have to do some fender mods

you will definatly be rubbing with a 42 offset in the rear, i rubbed pretty bad with +48 and 255 on 8.5" wheels

why fit a 255 on an 8?

i think you can fit 235 and it'd be square if not a little bulging..
255 would be overly bulged, not to mention soft sidewall because of it.

go 235/40 r/ 215/40 front

With the size of the wheels and the offsets you would need to stay narrow with the tires or modify the fenders. The 255/35R18 will need at least a 17X8.5 wheel.
If I can help let me know.

So If I run 225/45 F and 245/40 it shouldnt be a problem.

it depends on the tire size if you rub in the rear. with 235s youll be fine, 245s might clear. with my 8 +35s i rubbed a little with 245s and no mods to my fenders.
