Default 225/45/17 on 17x8 +42

will this setup rub? i dont want to mess up my new fenders again, is this too much tire? should i run a 215?

I have a 17x8 +43 on 255s and rub only on big bumps, so you should be golden

I would think that they could. You may need more negative camber and or a fender lip roll.

17x8 +44, 45 offset and 225/45/17 is ok if your car is at oem height. Otherwise, you will need to roll the front fender just a tad. Or more negative camber but I do not recommend this route unless your have a deep pocket
