Default anybody have RPF1's in 17x8, 17x9?

I'd like to test fit 17x8 +45 (or +35) and 17x9 +45 (or +35) on my FD RX-7. I've got StopTech brakes up front and '99+ spec RX-7 rear brakes, would like to confirm fitment before buying wheels for it.

Enkei says that the +45 should fit, but Tire Rack only shows +35 fitments, and haven't confirmed fitment over the StopTechs/99+ RX-7 calipers.

Would prefer +45...

Anyway, if yer nearby and don't mind me trying on your wheels, I'll buy you a beer or three afterwards

I know people have trouble fitting +45 over spoon calipers, so I'm guessing there might be some clearance issues with your stoptechs. Best bet is the route youre heading and trying to find a test fit.

what are the specs of the wheels you currently have that clear your brake setup?

Currently on TE37s in 17x8.5 +40, 17x9.5 +40, which clear with plenty of room to spare (~3/4" clearance behind spoke up front, ~1 1/2" in back).

Here's the StopTech template for the front fitment, if anyone could compare this against the 17x8 +45 Enkeis that would be *really* appreciated!

A 1mm-3mm spacer is recommended for clearance with the enkei front. It clears but it is very tight (that's what she said). That is for the s2000 anyways...
