Fitment Questions
I plan on running a set of wheels 17x9 + 40 with 255/40/r17 all around , obviously I know I will need a fender roll/pull . But as far as mods to avoid rubbing from such an aggressive tire what would be needed ? Camber ? And if so exactly what parts that effect camber ? Could I just get extended ball joints ?

If you're asking these questions you're absolutely not ready to be buying wheels with that sizing.
1) Run a 245/40/17. 255 have zero benefit on a street car and look worse than 245 on a 9" wheel.
2) Yeah you need camber, around -3*
3) A bunch of stuff & there's a bunch of different ways to add camber in different places that impact wheel fitment differently.
Do some reading.

What he said. For those specs 245 will make fitting them easier. I will say it does depend on the specific tire you are running as there is a good deal of width variation from tire to tire even when they all have the same measurement ie 245, 255 etc.
Your real issue is going to be the fronts. They will need a pretty aggressive pull to have a chance of fitting. You didn't give any info on the car. Is it stock? If no is it lowered and how is it lowered? The S2000 has a good amount camber adjustability from the factory but it needs to be lowered to get higher camber like -3.

For reference i just installed a 17x9.5 +41 wheel on my car. I am running 245/40/17. I would not recommend a 255 as its honestly just too much and it looks too pudgy imo. Especially if you are going to run a 9" wheel. Also -3 camber all around. Might need camber joints. Im not running any but im also not dropped as low as some people. You can get away with more agressive fitment with your car being higher but it wont look as good. I'm only dropped 1.25" from stock and thats good enough for me. Anymore and i feel like you'll have problems.
