tire opinion

Thanks, I saw that matrix for our cars but I was curious how each factor is weighted. Does tested tread life score equally to handling or hydroplaning (for example)?
Buying a set of tires for my S2000 every couple years doesn't bother me. I believe I got close to 15K miles on my RE-11A tires.

Just found there are detailed comments on each tire. Maybe there's a clue there. Off for more reading.

im not certain and a quick glance at their site and q&a section ... this is what i found
10 categories and a total high score of 82 points ...
a user can then filter their result and focus in on the attributes that matter most for their particular use case ...

Tread life seems to have a disproportionate effect on the CU ratings. Not unexpected for tire ratings for cars just puttering around running errands or commuting. #1 (recommended) and #3 (not recommended, I guess) have identical ratings other than a difference in 5000 miles tread life. #2 (also not recommended) has a couple areas rated higher than #1 -- other than that same critical 5000 mile tread life points hit.
