Tires for socal use
Just bought a 2001 s2k with lowering springs (not sure the drop, likely between 1 & 2")
Slight negative camber front and rear
unrolled fenders - not interested in rolling at this time
stock ap1 16s
stock tire width/height etc
fronts are graded 540
rears are 360
I want good balance and stock dimensions - tips on which tires to get?

For the street I run FIREHAWK INDY 500 on my '06 S
Have over 5k miles on them and they hook up good and let you know when they are going to let loose.
Don't run A/S tires if your going to drive the canyons(or any curve) at speed, you don't want the car swapping ends.
The CONTINENTAL EXTREMECONTACT SPORT are also getting good reviews.

I have Firehawk Indy 500 too, since Fall 2016. Very good tires.
No need for "Extreme Perf" (180-200utqg) tires for the street. Just kicks up more rocks onto the paint (paint chips), wears out much faster, noisier, not good in the rain, and you will never see their real limits/potential on the streets (unless you're driving like you want to go to jail, or kill yourself on the canyons)

I think the Firehawks are re-branded Bridgestone S03s, and very competent from posts here.
A buddy bought a lowered '02 and it grounded everywhere. After a few months we sourced a complete set of '02 OEM springs (Ebay, where else? ) and he, and the car are much happier. The OEM springs have colored paint dots on them and you can mix and match if desired. Something to keep in mind.
