Default City stickers

Got a ticket today for having no city sticker. Ive had the car for over half a year now and have had no problem before with this. Do you guys have city stickers or is it like front plates where you just sort of dont care lol.

If it's registered in the city, you'll need to have a sticker.

Yea you also need to have a front plate but not many people have that lol. I was just wondering if everyone has a sticker or do some people just drive around without one anyway.

Just got my village sticker a couple days ago for $50. Your post validates why.

Most if not all cities/villages require city stickers, I have never had one and never gotten a ticket, even after being pulled over a few times in my city. Some cops enforce it others dont, I guess.

suburban stickers don't cost much, they're probably cheaper than the fine. just get one and be done with it.

I keep my car registered back home to avoid this, but technically after 90 days of having my car in the city, I'm still supposed to get one.

Sooo glad I don't have to deal with city stickers anymore (of course, I've probably just jinxed myself). Schaumburg cops were the worst. My brother-in-law got a ticket for an expired sticker while he was parked at Woodfield Mall (nose in, btw). The thing was, he moved out of Schaumburg a few years earlier, but never took the sticker off the windshield. The ticket was thrown out....but WTF?
