Da bears.
The team is dominating. They've outplayed their 8 opponents (combined record 23 - 41, only 1 team above .500) convincingly on defense and special teams. The defense has not had a bad game yet so the offense hasn't needed to be good, just fair. Which is good, because the offense still isn't playing on par with a playoff team. Rex had a good game to start the season against Green Bay (pass defense rank: 32, overall defense rank 29), clobbered the Lions (pass rank 27, overall 30), struggled against Minnesota (pass rank 18, overall 7), played fair against Seattle (pass 25, overall 23) and Buffalo (pass 19, overall 12), had one of the worst games in history against Arizona (pass 24, overall 26), throttled San Francisco (pass 26, overall 32), and then gave away the game to Miami (pass 4, overall 9) - which coincidentally is the only really good pass defense they've faced.
The Bears have a favorable (read: easiest in the NFL) schedule and don't face another good pass defense, so Rex will end up the season looking like a hero.
In all likelihood, the NFC playoff teams will be NYG, Chi, NO, Sea, Atl, and a 6th team among the five 4-4 teams. Most of them have good pass defense (exception being Seattle). Rex can't win games, he can only not lose them, and against a good pass defense, the Bears are hosed.

Forget the stats, doesn't really mean anything. If i use the stats for my weekly pool, i will win every week. I do agree about Rex, unfortunately, the Bears wins with him or loses with him. He doesn't do well when pressured, something the Giants will be doing a lot of. Rex gunslinger mentality ain't good cause he's not one, the coaching staff has obviously let him loose (42 attempts). Hopefully, they back away from that and mixed it up a bit more and have a little more variety, they're just too predictive offensively.

I'm still trying to figure out what Rex's strengths are... other than handing the ball off.
Everytime he throws without his throwing foot set makes me cringe. The fcvking ball floats like it's never going to come down. He's also not very smart for a QB.
NFC playoff teams, who knows? Too much inconsistency.... The 2 best teams in NFC playing this weekend, woot!. It's unlikely, but i hope the Giants pass more than rush, the kid Manning is prone to throwing INT's himself.
