When morons play crappy cards, in a dumb-ass way, and go runner/runner to suck out a win.

I had 8/9 of Spades. I just called before the flop. Three other people call including the big blind and the small blind.

The flop comes down 9 high with two diamonds. I bet the size of the pot (I am first to act.) I have Top Pair.

One guy calls, then another one calls. I assume both are on flush draws.

The turn comes down as a 3 of clubs. I bet again, but not too much. I get call, call.

River card is a 2 of spades I bet again and one guy folds and the other calls. He has 2/3 of diamonds.

Calling with 2/3 before the flop is dumb. Once I bet and someone else calls he has to assume at least ONE of us is on a flush draw and he has the two LOWEST diamonds in the deck. So ANY flush will beat him, and he has no pair at all, and if he does get a pair it's a pair of twos or a pair of threes. Either way, he should loose the hand. With three in the hand I was about 49% to win after the flop, the second player was about 50% to win after the flop and this fool was 1% to win and does. Gets the only two cards he can catch to win.

If he routinely plays 23s you'll get a lot of money from him... what irritates me is when someone like that wins such a hand and then leaves while gloating that he outplayed you. FFS!

I got bounced in one tourney by a (sober) guy that cold called a raise and reraise to him... he ended up winning with a 25o. I shook my head and stood up to leave and he said something like "I schooled him".

People like that guy need a shotgun blast to the face.
