Sam, do you know anything about the water quality in Saba? It's in the Caribbean. Anything I should know? Anything I should bring specifically regarding drinking water?

I'd suspect it's the same as the other islands near/around there. A desalination plant to use sea water for drinking purposes would be ideal but since those are expensive and costly to maintain, I'd guess they use catchment or cisterns instead.

I'd take a small filter to use. I can get you one that would be sufficient for you, but it's for one person only, a little gravity filter. Katadyn also make a little pump unit that would work, but those are kinda pricey $200 for the right one.

I'd greatly appreciate the filter. I'll be there for a week, and I'm only worried about my own water. I'm going with a group, but I'll let them fend for themselves.

Thank you! I'd REALLY hate to get sick and ruin this trip. I've invested a LOT of time, money and effort into preparing for it (with a lot left to do, too.)
