Sooo the law is JUST texting? or texting and using the phone? What about navigation? what about making a phone call? like how are they going to prove you were doing something wrong?

Y shocked?
Just figured you had more tickets than that.

Damn near every time I've been pulled over I get a ticket, I think I've had 2 warnings ever in my life.

Apparently using a GPS (not mounted to car..dash) , Media device , Phone... Anything like that. My head was down . When pulled over i threw it under my seat. But as u all know my phone is red... I sometimes take business calls or webinars on my phone.. Gotta be more careful from now on.

Hmmm, maybe we need another thread for everyone to post the circumstances where they were pulled over, but got a warning instead of a ticket. Like Sam, I've gotten more tickets than warnings; so, I must be doing something wrong -- Andy, care to lead it off? It could be a kinda anecdotal, DIY for avoiding tickets.

^ I'd need my own thread.

According to a cop friend of mine, once you start actually getting tickets, the warnings disappear since the cop thinks you enjoy it or something sinister like that.

I actually asked the judge last time I went to court why the previous 4 people in front of me were let off with fine and no points, and he simply said because they have clean records. WTF! How can I get a clean record if I get a ticket every time I'm pulled over.
