Default Meter Parking in Chicago WITH TRAILER!

Does anyone know if taking up 2 meter spots in Chicago street with an open deck trailer attached to an SUV is ok? Both meters will be paid of course. Anyone knows if there're any kind of restrictions for doing that?

I plan on heading out to Gingerman for the evening T&T straight from the city, and need to park the truck and trailer in the morning. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

no idea. could also try calling the police (or whichever) department for an answer. i remember in champaign you could rent out meters for the day...maybe you can do that in chicago as well.

as far as i know, chicago no longer has individual meters, they were replace by automatic meters that work for a whole block

you put your money in, then it gives you a receipt to put on your dash

i dont know what the protocol is for a trailered vehicle, but i would follow rustywaves advice and call whichever department runs the parking.
