toro is for low income earners!1! omg.

I ordered some the other day and it was $32 for 8 pieces

dayam. japanese people living it larga-ru!
i guess they're the ones buying the $300 jeans yo

well toro isn't considered a "high quality" cut of tuna. it matters i guess in preference. for me, i perfer the "chu-toro" over the "o-toro" cuz the higher fat content in "o-toro" makes the fish sometimes really stringy. "chu-toro" has a more delicate texture and melts right away in your mouth.


when in doubt, order "unagi" cuz its the most protein tasting meat in typical sushi.

Im getting back into the game. actually had it on new years. Now i don't feel ill when i eat. i guess it was a bad phase. i still hate lobster and shrimp though..

i'm convinced the unagi dinner she had at Matsuhisa's (the original NOBU restaurant in LA) for our first date had something to do w/ the chic getting together w/ me...
