Default Mugen prune 3

The intake was something I suggested to King about 6 months a go.
I called them asking them to see if they could get Samco to make me an intake tube since I could not find a good price on the GOTO intake.
Looks like they took the request and ran with it.

Ask for Clayton tell him Mark sent you.

Stay tuned guys! There is a Titanium Intake piping in the works that will replace the OEM pipe. Production is starting soon and we'll have some pictures of the prototype in a few weeks! And we'll start selling them shortly after that.

Does anyone know if the Mugen ECU allows use of the OBDII port or does it disable it like AEM EMS's?

Also what sort of advantages does it add if you have Mugen intake, header, exhaust, and thermostat & fan switch?

It disables it...secondary O2 goes un-noticed by the Mugen ECU.

Mugen ECU maps are tuned for JDM F20 with Mugen header, intake, exhuast and temp mods. I have both the Mugen ECU and the EMS. The Mugen ECU was great for what it is back when I got it (EMS wasn't available at the time). However, I wouldn't trade the EMS for it now.

I only keep the Mugen ECU in case the EMS gets fried.

I've been on the fence about going either the SS spoiler or the 3-piece like yours.
I decided for the 3 piece spoiler because I thought a wing would be "too much" for my car. My hood and front bumper are still OEM, and this seemed to be a better look for a less modded exterior.

BTW, for proper fitment, the mugen spoiler requires that you to purchase the MY00-01 third brake light and swap out the My02+ third brake light.

The older version third brake light is slightly smaller and it appears the mold mugen uses to make the spoiler was based on the older style (I read that this change in 2002 was due to compliance with US regulations, so perhaps the third brake light is still the older version in Japan and elsewhere). But even with that, the price for the spoiler option is still much less, and it the spoiler is not seen as often as the ss wing (or knock offs of the mugen wing) at least around here.

If you use the mounting holes for the center section, I beleive the wing can be easily swapped out if you change your mind and want the ss wing, as the same holes are used for the wing. The oem spoiler, however, uses four mounting holes, and two are right near the third brake light, which seems to be totally unnecessary.

Next thing I'm doing is the front bumper!

this is not true at all. I had the Mugen 3pc on my 02 and never switched my light nor did i have any fitment issues at all......
