No windshield obstructions here in MI
Here's a copy of an interesting article I just read in my Michigan Lawyer's weekly newsletter. Makes me think twice about having anything visible in the windshield area (from radar detectors, to GPSs, to air fresheners) -- not that I have illegal items in my car, but I don't want to be stopped for something like this:

same shit in Illinois, cept the fact that ipass requires you to have your ipass on the windshield hits the BS book for idiots making laws... You can't have anything that is 1/2 inch thick hanging from your mirror in illinois (least last time I heard)
I have been pulled over for having my radar detector in my windshield but he let me go and just told me to take it down... I put it back up behind my rear view mirror (in my last car you could fit it back there) now I have it on my dash, its not super effective there because its not in a high vision point but it works good enough, i still pick up cops.
