I also felt really old cuz some of the others grew up on N64... I grew up on atari/intellivision and good ole' nintendo..

 

LOL I kinda like interaction with other people, thats also the reason I like Forza more then GT4, You can play it online....unlike gt4

 

My favorite game for nes was "wizards and warriors" I also enjoyed "metroid" and "zelda"

I grew up on pong LOL. my first computer was Atari 65 xe, like this:

everything was loaded through tapes, It would take 2-3 hours to load one game LOL

 

I liked having the old games where you played side to side. There was always one person that would cheat and knock the controller out of the other person's hand. Actually i was that bastard.. but it sure was fun! I also remember playing mario cart in college with a bunch of dudes for close to 10 hours. we skipped class, got drunk and played mario cart. Not a worry in the world..

 

 

Sad part is that we talked about it again at hooters...

 

My friend had one of those but we lost interest cuz it took so long to play. I liked the ability to jam a cartridge inside the atari 2600 and push the on button to play. no load times at all!

 

Maybe cuz im getting old but the games are not that fun anymore. I loved th e old games cuz it was sooo fake. But since it was fake, it made it more interesting by imagining more. I used to make sound effects when i fought the bosses in "double dragon" and screamed my victory cheer when i beat them. now its too damn real and too pretty.
