anyway...Later.
i had an uneventful night last night. my mum got sideswiped by some woman that ran a red light. My mum is fine, no scratches or anything, just sore arms from too much tension. however, the camry has seen better days.
the impact was minor but enough to damage the following parts:
1) cracked driver side headlight
2) Front bumper damage
3) driver side front fender damage
4) missing side mirror
5) damage to driver side door
6) damage to driver side rear door
7) damage to rear fender
The problem is that the car is a 94 with only 80k but KBB would only rate it for around $2500. i think the sum of all the damages will be more than the value of the car thus the insurance company may total the car. too bad cuz the car ran like a charm got around 28mpg and on a good day went 35mpg. It also never had problems mechanically and i hate to see the car gone cuz of some minor damage.
also, since she has to shop for a new car and since she will need a nother car ASAP for work, my winter beater (91 legend) will be handed to her.... so I will have to drive the miata all winter long.
that sux cuz my car is going to be plowing snow when it snow really heavy.
