i already have blizzaks for the car. putting sandbags in the car will make the car unbalanced. it already has 50/50 so it should do just fine.

the thing im worried is the ride height and the weight of the car. since i only have about 3 inches of clearance i will plow the snow when it gets really deep. also since the car weighs only about 2200lbs, im worried about all the bigger 2 ton cars out there spinning into my little ellie.

If i get wacked by an suv or a crown vic, there will be no more hiro.

im driving that red VW golf as a loaner. Its a free loaner so i can't complain.

being a previous 4 door golf, i can't say that its a bad vehicle. i actualy LOVE it for practicality reasons. What other passenger compact car can make only 1 trip moving out of an apartment in bridgeport? i managed to stuff all my cd, video, computer, desk(unassembled), an OVEN and a mattress (i had to fold the fvcker).

my last golf was a automatic one and the timing belt snapped leaving me stranded. but the car broke down only 2 minutes from my house so i just pushed it there.

i might buy that POS and get the clutch replaced.

Thanks. i was really worried on my way home from chicago. since i already lost a family member this year, i didn't want anything to happen to mum. luckily she had lady luck on her side and came tottally unscathed.
