Carmelo Anthony had a crappy freshman year, until the tournament. For some odd reason exploded, and no one knew what to expect from the kid. That's why they did well.

Definitely. But you see my point about the 7-game series vs the 1-game series? I think in the NBA, the best team almost always wins, whereas in college, there are a lot of upsets because one bad day can knock out a good team.

I think people vastly underrate the amount of luck involved in sports. There's always some story that gets attached to it, when really they just got hot at the right time.

 

except for the gays on seinfeld...... kramer and jerry are scared to death of them..
