When I bought my first S in the UK, I bought the GT model, hence the totally unoriginal name of S2000GT (it was also my license plate over there too)

Sgt Skidmark - Carry over from my old XBOX gamer tag. It is in honor of my little brother, who as a child, always had a Skidmark in his undies. Even when they came straight out the dryer!!

Jimi Hendrix was one of the best guitar players of all time. His most famous band was The Jimi Hendrix Experience and their first album was entitled "Are You Experienced?" and was released in 1967.

I am a bit of a guitar player, and have been heavily influenced by Hendrix. So my screen name is a referance to his first album.

I had that as my lisence plate back in the day.

 

i think i must have been drunk but i remember it came from two sources...

1) A line from batman where the joker is battling batman. "have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?"

2) I was addicted to "tokyo highway battle" for the dreamcast and i had picked night dancer as my name.

Hence, i picked twlight dancer.

But after i put the name in, it sounded really stupid. But that's life.

I wonder what i would have picked other than that...

 

Vad is a nickname from 7th grade. When I signed up, I'm not sure why I made it all caps.

 

well, before I had my S2, i had a 1997 MB C280 Sport. I met a guy (now a friend of min) through another friend, and he immediatly started calling me johnny benzo, not even knowing that my name WAS john.

Well, needless to say, when I got my S2, it became johnny s2k, shortened to johnny 2K, johnny 2000, johnny s2 benz, and now with the tl it is johnny s2 benz tl.

 

For me, when I first chose a name for playing Quake 3 online in 2001, I couldn't come up with anything for a few minutes. I was just looking around the room for ideas and I saw a box of Pop Tarts and it stuck ever since.

I later (2002? 2003?) registered poptarts.org as my website since it wasn't taken. A few months later I got a cease and desist letter from Kellogg's lawyers!!!

 

benighted is a song by a swedish band called opeth. i guess they'd be classified as progressive death metal, but that song has only acoustic/clean guitars and clean vocals. it's pretty good...not sure why i chose it as my s/n though.

what guitar(s) do you have? i just got a gibson sg last year...such an upgrade over my mexi-strat!
