hmm.. 25 years ago this week (I remember being in the hospital when Reagan was shot) 3am I missed a turn and put my car 75 feet out into a river. After getting out of the car and swimming to shore while wearing a parka, jeans, heavy sweater and cowboy boots, I dragged my tired ass up the embankment and got to the road in time to be hit by a car. While laying under the car dazed I hear "I think that was Mark" Someone I knew who actually made the turn had run me over. Thankfully they had a '63 falcon with plenty of ground clearance.

Well after being revived (apparently I was dead for a couple of minutes) and few broken bones including a broken hip and few burns and road rash scrapes later I am in the hospital. Being a fine quality military hospital it is a couple of days before they decide to clean my back up when the nurse notices the tire track bruise across my back (yes Pete a Jimi Hendrix song comes to mind). She nick named me.

I must say having your back scrubbed with gauze and iodine to get the pieces of asphalt out of your back is not pleasant. I bent the metal tubes on the side of the bed during that process.

If you know Scooby doo. I am the little one Scrappy but that name was taken So i picked a "tougher" name ScrapDog. The name was given to me in highschool because i was small , brown and always ROWDY(wanting to fight) and was and still am very hyper. Im also a hot head and a big mouth. So it fits me i guess. Its also my break dancing name. I also have all extentions of ScrapDog@aol@Excite@yahoo@hotmail@sbc@uwp@uic@clc So it kinda stuck with me.
