Shipping an engine

Default Shipping an engine

So im trying to get quotes and ideas for shipping a short block with in the country, any idea on how to do this? who do i go through?

Use a freight company. They'll pick it up. Some with crate it for you onto a pallet, others will ask you to make sure you have it secured and wrapped onto a pallet.

I have a handful of local freight forwarders that I've used in the past. However, it's recommended that the buyer use a freight forwarder that's local to him. It'll come to be cheaper for him (assuming that he's paying for the freight and insurance costs).

BTW, make sure you insist on the buyer paying for insurance.
