NOK said 2 years for the turnaround. Hold or sell is up to you. WP7 is a little late to the party (and I have zero exp with it) but with a big partner like Nokia it may prove very fruitful.

 

A bit of a trainwreck at work last night. Will likely get lectured today. Im getting sick of the micromanaging bozo in the engineering department who feels he must rule the laser department with a tyranical iron fist. And then have the director say we need to produce. If the idiot engineer got out of my way, stopped hog tying my hands and let me do my job I might actually get stuff done. But NoooOOOooo... we have to shut down jobs if something isn't right. At the current track record for the idiots I take over almost every day I might as well just hit the OFF button the moment I walk over there. Not even bother trying because id just be wasting my time and let first shift do exacly the same thing id do. But because the idea or change didn't spawn from HIS cranium the idea is no good.

They tell me I work magic with getting things to run right but it seems like im really a janitor just cleaning up everyone elses crap that they've left for me or another employee. Im getting sick and tied of taking over from a guy who has a brain like Einstine but leaves it out past pluto. Nothing is right or working well when I start. And they can't fire this guy for political and medical reasons. He has more protection than a black man in an equal opportunity employment facility.

I keep requesting to go to first for training and so I can have a social life and NOT have this kind of crap go on day after day but im too good of a janitor. Im the best at cleaning up other peoples crap jobs and getting them to run pristine. I've been doing this for years but the tyranical micromanaging freak of a laser engineer feels that its too much to fix stuff and that it is his job to do that. He can go to hell.

 

Yeah its what NOK needs, symbian was beyond late to the party, it never got invited, let alone accepted by anyone... Talk about a company who needed a change, yet the market doesn't think MS is the right one for the job, many believe its two giants who are failing, but if people step back and look at the MS phone OS its actually quite good! Same way the palm OS was, cept their hardware was crap and it caused palm to fail...

Can't be good news for home owners who are relying on their home being an appreciating asset. Just sucks.

 

I know some of you will flame me for saying this but I just gotta vent.

This warm weather SUCKS! Its ruining the ice routes! Climbs can become soft and very treacherous. Large chunks can come off and God forbid the climb collapse while someone is on it... im likely joining Midwest Ice Climbers club and their private park may be shut down early! its still the middle of February! !!! At least wait till mid to late March before warming up past 32 degrees F....
