You know what pisses me off? When somebody puts shrimp in their chili (who puts shrimp in their chili!?!?!) for our office chili cookoff today and doesn't tell anyone...and then Charlie (who is extraordinarily allergic to shrimp) takes a bite, has an anaphyliactic reaction to it and has to run to the bathroom to barf it all up.

That pisses me off.

And I can't go home because we've got a webcast going out right now that I need to be here for.

This is ridiculous.

I'm convinced I have a trojan/spyware/malware infecting one of my home computers, and I can't seem to fix it, and it's really starting to grind my gears. I'm getting strange but repeatable IE shutdowns on certain websites (trustworthy websites like michigan.gov too), and SysFader errors. I've tried several antivirus/antispyware programs without a permanent fix. Looked through the top google hits, etc. Interestingly, Peer Guardian 2 seems to be preventing the problem when I have it running, which is why I'm convinced that it's some kind of spyware/malware. Although PG2 isn't addressing the root cause, just probably blocking some of the activity of the spyware. Arghhh!

I believe PG began life as an antispyware program but has since developed into a Peer 2 Peer privacy protection program -- not that I condone P2P file sharing. Regardless, it blocks traffic to restricted IP addresses:

Reformatting and loading all my shit back on is a PITA (yeah, I do it from time to time as probably anyone should, but the last time wasn't all that long ago).

My one roommate's girlfriend!

My other roommate, myself, and pretty much all 3 of our friends hate this woman. The reasons why are near limitless, but one good example was that while she was halfway through making a sandwich (thus covering her fingers in food and condiments), she proceeded to finger through some of the records my parents brought up! These mean a LOT to me, and I am doing everything in my power to keep them in as great of shape as they did, yet she has no regard for respecting others' property. UGH!!!

Oh yeah, and she is ugly as sin, so it isn't even like there's the positive of having an attractive girl around. I'm pretty sure she honestly has some mental issues as well, and she generally acts as though she is 14, yet is 23 (4 years older than my roommate).
