my friends audi s6 from 1995 has 6 levels too! I have to say on highest setting it gets pretty damn hot.

I think they've always had 6 levels, our old 99 A4 had that many too.

Level 6 is definitely "cook your ass" heat, mine is usually on 4.

I have six levels also, but even on the coldest of cold days, I've never ventured past 3. I'm usually at 1 or 2.

...wait, I take that back, kinda, I've used level 6 on the passenger seat many times to keep take out food nice and warm for the trip home!

I used to mess with Holly in the Mercedes, I could control the passenger seat from the drivers door by pushing a button. She'd figure it out after a minute or so of the seat warmer being on high.

I thought it was fun. I'd also turn on the ventilated seat when it was really cold out, makes the seat frigid!! She didn't like that too much.
