my best win of Monopoly game ever!
towards the end i held a yellow and purple (yes the $2 rent one) property and a railroad. everyone merged into 2 powerhouses. i refered to them as Microsoft and Apple. they had hotels and big $$$ . i had less then $1K. i was an island. an island waiting to be swamped by the 2 big corporations.

each and every round, each dice roll in fact, could not happen without a ten minute battle between microsoft and apple arguing and pitching their case as to which corporation i should join.

i made a deal with Apple where i sell them my purple property (they held the other) for free rent on all their property. basically i don't pay them a penny for the rest of the game.

then as Apple tried to get me to merge with them, i made a quick behinds-the-doors type deal with Microsoft. i sold them my yellow property for not just free rent but i PROFIT off any rent they take in. i get $50 regardless of what the rent they take in.

bottom line..... the only time i pay anything at all is if i land on the luxury tax spaces. they became Microsoft and Apple while i sneakly became the government!

they were still trying to get me to merge with them when i got up, replenish my glass of brandy, came back to the board and announced my victory.

Man... that makes me miss playing Monopoly.

I have to give a for amazing food yesterday with extended family. I also had a great (albeit uneventful) drive down to Chillicothe yesterday morning, and a pretty good (despite feeling both tired and sick) drive to HOME home from there. Then I proceeded to sleep in for the first time in MANY years on Black Friday.

my brothers and sisters have what we call "prison rules". it's our own set of rules. lots of bribes and rent skipping and all around sneaky stuff. just can't cheat the bank.
